Planning your Christmas holiday? Take a break from working out your budget and see where you could go and what you could do if money were no object. Here are the 5 of the world’s most expensive holiday destinations.

The Republic of the Maldives consists of more than 1000 islands in the Indian Ocean, most of which are uninhabited.

Over the past decade, Maldives has earned a name as the holiday destination for the rich and famous. Services focus on luxury, catering to the most discriminating clientele. This is where you will find the world’s first underwater restaurant.

Fine dining, great beaches and the most luxurious hotels aren’t enough? You can charter your own private island!

Another island nation in the Indian Ocean, the Republic of Seychelles contains more than 100 islands.
Known for its beaches, with pristine white sand and clear, turquoise water, Seychelles is a popular wedding and honeymoon destination for those with money to spend on luxury.

The island of Praslin is the home of the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only place where you will find the coca de mer palm tree, which produces the largest nut in the world.

An island in the Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean, Aruba is becoming an increasingly popular wedding destination.

While people often choose Aruba for its sunny weather and beautiful beaches, there is more to do than just sunbathe or snorkel. Tourists can eat in fine restaurants and enjoy the exciting nightlife.

Spend the day in Arikok National Park, home to priceless gems, where you can see amazing plants and unusual animals like the Aruban burrowing owl, the Aruban whiptail lizard and the Aruban cateye snake.

Monaco has a reputation for being the holiday destination for the rich and famous. The Principality of Monaco is a tiny city-state, with an area of only two kilometres, on the French Riviera. Here you will find more millionaires per person than in any other country. No wonder it’s the place to go when you can afford the most expensive luxuries.

While the Monte Carlo Casino and the Grand Prix are Monaco’s most famous attractions, there are many other ways for tourists with cash to spare to pass the time. Enjoy the gorgeous Mediterranean beaches and the beautiful gardens. Dine in fine restaurants and dance all night long.

Mauritius is an island in the Republic of Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean, off the African coast. Places to visit include Grand Bay, known for its shops, restaurants, bars and discos, the Maheswarnath, a Hindu temple that is almost 200 years old, and the Labourdonnais Orchards, with its beautiful tropical fruit trees and flowers. Vieux Grand Port contains the oldest Dutch settlement on Mauritius.

Is all of this too much for your wallet? You don’t have to spend lots of money to have a fantastic holiday. You can start by getting a great price on a hotel room. Visit and start saving.

Three places are around the Indian Ocean and rest two across the other part. So according to me best way is to stick around the Indian Ocean and I will get a chance to explore all three destinations. I have seen the deals on your website. So I think these places are no more expensive as I compared the cost and all travel expenses out there. Thanks for the tips.

I am a wild life photographer and the best destination to explore according to me is Aruba with its diverse flora and fauna. I visited here twice and took so many photographs of Aruban Cateye Snake and whiptail lizard and uploaded them on my instagram profile.
