Why have you removed my listing?

 We reserve the right to take down a listing if it does not conform to MrBuy Guy's Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy, or if the item listed is a Prohibited Item

Where can I view my account information?

 You can view your account information by going to your Dashboard, which you can access when you log in or by clicking My Account at the top of any page.

How can I share my feedback on a transaction?

You can share feedback by filling out a Feedback Form after you complete the transaction. 

Choosing a retailer

After you've decided to buy a product, you'll have to pick the retailer you want to purchase it from.

From the Product page, you'll see a list of all the retailers that sell the product, how much each retailer is currently charging for it, each retailer's average customer rating for the product and whether the retailer is currently stocking the product.

If you're thinking about buying from a particular retailer, click on Visit Store and you'll be taken to the Product page on that retailer's website.

From there, you can either purchase the product or go back to MrBuyGuy.com and view the product on another retailer's website.

Note that MrBuyGuy is not responsible for your safety or security on an external website, so shop carefully.

I think someone has stolen my account information. What do I do?

If you think someone has stolen your MrBuyGuy.com account information, change your password immediately.

Contact Us and tell us what happened.

MrBuyGuy recommends you change your password every ten days.

Can I withdraw my listing?

 Whether or not you can withdraw  a listing before it expires depends on the type of listing and, if it is a General Listing with a reserve, whether  the reserve has been met or not. 

You can withdraw a general listing before it expires, up to an hour before expiration. If you withdraw within an hour after placing the listing, MrBuyGuy will refund all of your listing and promotional fees. After the first hour, you may have to pay an additional fee to withdraw your listing.

You may withdraw a classified listing at any time. There is no fee for withdrawing a classified listing.

Whenever you withdraw a listing, you must state a reason for the withdrawal. If you make repeated withdrawals that MrBuyGuy considers unjustified, your account my be suspended.

How can I include calculated shipping costs in my listing?

Click List Item at the top of the page, then click Sell Item, then fill out your listing. After you enter the details about your product, you will arrive at a section which asks you for shipping information. You will have two choices:

  • Free shipping
  • Specify shipping costs

Select Specifiy shipping costs, then fill in the cost and details in the spaces provided.  To offer more than one shipping option, click Add Another Shipping Option. The winner of the auction will be able to choose one of the options.

How do I place a Wanted ad?

The process for placing a Wanted ad is similar to that for placing an auction listing or a Classified ad.

Click List Wanted Ad underneath List Item at the top of the page.

You will be taken to a listings page.

Then either fill in the item’s UPC / EAN or ISBN, if you know it, or select the item’s category.

Click Save and Continue.

When prompted to choose your listing type, select Wanted Ad.

Click Save and Continue, and then follow the prompts.

How do I change my email address for notifications?

You can change your email address for receiving notifications in a few simple steps:

  1. Log in to MrBuyGuy.com
  2. Click My Account at the top of the page.
  3. Click the My Account tab.
  4. Click Subscriptions on the left hand side of the page.
  5. Type in your new email address in the box under Your Seller & Buyer email notifications.
  6. Click Change.

What should I do if my account shows an unpaid item?

 To avoid suspension or restriction of your account, it is important to make timely payments and keep unpaid items from being recorded on your account. You must send payment to the seller within 4 days, once an unpaid item case is opened.
