Top Questions

When will I receive a sales report?

Once you are subscribed to our services, you will receive your first report within 72 hours. The report will be comprehensive and will provide you with interesting insights on various sales aspects of your sales.

How does MrBuyGuy calculate my positive feedback percentage?

MrBuyGuy calculates your positive feedback percentage by looking at all of your feedback from transactions over the last 12 months. If the same member gives you the same feedback multiple times, it is counted only once.

Dividing the number of positive feedback ratings by the total number of feedback ratings gives your positive feedback percentage.

For example, suppose you have 100 positive ratings, 4 neutal ratings and one negative rating.

Your positive feedback percentage is:

100 ÷ 100+4+1 or  95.2%.

How can I restore the listing I deleted?

To recover a deleted listing, click on Deleted in the selling section of your dashboard.

What is an unpaid item?

When you buy or bid successfully on an item, you commit to pay. If you fail to make a payment,  an unpaid item case may be opened.

If you don't pay or you fail to reach an agreement with the seller within 4 days, MrBuyGuy will record an unpaid item on your account.

This can lead to your account being restricted or suspended.

How do I place a Classified Ad?

The process for placing a classified ad is similar to that for placing an auction listing.

Click Sell Item underneath List Item at the top of the page.

You will be taken to a listings page.

Then either fill in the item’s UPC / EAN or ISBN or select the item’s category.

Click Save and Continue.

When prompted to choose your listing type, select Classified Ad.

Click Save and Continue, then follow the prompts.

I won an item but no longer want to buy it. What should I do?

You are obliged to buy the item that won, as your bid is considered a contract.

If you think you  have a valid reason for cancelling your purchase, contact the seller and explain your position. The seller may understand your concern and be willing to work with you. If the seller does not accept your explanation, you must purchase the item. if you fail to do so, an unpaid item will be documented in your account. Too many unpaid items can lead to account restriction or suspension.

Where can I view my account information?

You can view your account information by going to your Dashboard, which you can access when you log in or by clicking My Account at the top of any page.
